Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before making a booking.
By paying your booking deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. A binding agreement is then formed between Alice's Princess Wonderland and the customer named on the booking.
1. Bookings
A booking is only confirmed once the required non-refundable deposit has been received.
When making an enquiry, a date and character may be provisionally held for up to 24 hours. We cannot guarantee availability until the deposit has been paid.
Bookings are subject to performer availability.
2. Deposits
All booking deposits are non-refundable.
The deposit secures your chosen date, time and, where possible, your requested character and performer. It also allows us to begin preparing and purchasing supplies for your celebration.
Deposits are therefore not refundable if you subsequently cancel your booking.
3. Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before the party unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If payment has not been received by the required deadline, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled. A friendly payment reminder will be sent before payment deadline to remind you that your final balance is due.
4. Changes to Bookings
Any requested changes to your booking should be communicated as soon as possible and, wherever possible, no later than 7 days before the party.
Changes to the character, package, duration, number of children or other booking details are subject to availability and may result in an additional charge.
We cannot guarantee that last-minute changes can be accommodated.
5. Characters & Performers
We will make every reasonable effort to provide your requested character and, where requested, your preferred performer.
However, specific performers cannot be guaranteed due to availability, illness, emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances.
We reserve the right to provide an alternative performer or character where necessary.
If we need to make a change, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and discuss the available options.
6. Performer Arrival & Departure
The performer will arrive and leave at the times stated on your booking confirmation.
If you require the performer to arrive earlier than the booked start time to set up or prepare before guests arrive, this must be booked and paid for in advance.
The organiser should ensure that the performer can gain access to the venue promptly.
7. Delays
We always aim to arrive on time.
However, occasional delays may occur due to traffic, road closures, weather, parking difficulties or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If we are delayed, we will contact you using the telephone number provided on your booking.
Please ensure that your phone is available shortly before the party start time, as the performer may call when they arrive outside the venue.
8. Children & Supervision
Our performers are entertainers and not childcare providers.
A responsible adult must remain at the party and supervise all children throughout the performance.
The organiser is responsible for the welfare, safety, behaviour and supervision of all children attending.
The performer may adjust or change activities depending on the number and ages of children, available space, time restrictions and how the children respond to the activities.
9. Inappropriate Behaviour
We want every party to be safe, respectful and enjoyable.
Our performers will not tolerate threatening, abusive, discriminatory or inappropriate behaviour towards themselves or others.
If a performer feels unsafe or is subjected to inappropriate behaviour, they reserve the right to stop the performance and/or leave the party.
In these circumstances, no refund will be due.
10. Party Numbers
Our standard package pricing is based on a maximum of 30 children, unless otherwise agreed.
The organiser must inform us if the expected number of children changes significantly.
We reserve the right to recommend an additional performer, assistant or other arrangement where the number of children exceeds the agreed party capacity.
11. Venue & Party Space
The organiser is responsible for ensuring that the venue provides a safe and suitable space for the entertainment.
There must be sufficient clear floor space for the activities included in the chosen package.
The organiser must also provide any agreed facilities required by the performer, including a sturdy chair and suitable access to power where required.
12. Parking & Travel
Where possible, the organiser should provide a suitable parking space as close to the venue entrance as possible.
Any parking charges, permits or fees are the responsibility of the organiser.
Additional travel/fuel charges may apply for bookings outside our standard travel area. Any applicable charges will be confirmed before the booking is accepted.
13. Allergies & Products
The organiser is responsible for informing us of any known allergies, sensitivities or medical considerations before the party.
Where products such as glitter tattoos or cosmetic products are used, the organiser is responsible for ensuring that appropriate parental/guardian permission has been obtained and that relevant allergies have been considered.
If required, we will be happy to provide you with a list of ingredients used in both our makeup and glitter tattoos, giving you complete peace of mind.
We reserve the right to refuse the use of a product where we have concerns regarding safety.
14. Photography & Marketing
We may take photographs and/or videos during our performances for use in our promotional materials, including our website, social media and advertising.
The organiser is responsible for informing us before the event if any child must not be photographed or included in promotional material.
15. Acceptance of Terms
By making payment of the booking deposit, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
